Framing the Value of Clinical and Field Education

Former NANFED president and treasurer worked with an interprofessional group of colleagues to write Framing the Value of Clinical and Field Education.   The position paper draws from existing research and practice wisdom across multiple disciplines to quantify and qualify the value brought to community agencies by the university-agency field placement partnership.  Released in 2016, the paper is available here.

Field Education in Social Work: Contemporary Issues and Trends

So rich were the papers presented in the 1987 and 1988 Symposia that several were collected in a volume entitled Field Education in Social Work: Contemporary Issues and Trends edited by the organizers and published in 1991.

Social Work Field Education: Views and Visions

That volume was followed in 1995 by Social Work Field Education: Views and Visions edited by Gayla Rogers and had special emphasis on papers from the first Canadian Field Work Symposium.
